Effective January 1, 2008, attorneys appointed by the Court in such matters will generally be limited to a flat hourly billing rate of $75 per hour for all court time, preparation time, and costs and expenses incurred in relation to their role as court-appointed counsel. This billing rate may, however, be increased or decreased in the discretion of individual Judicial Officers to accurately reflect the complexity of the case in which counsel has been appointed.
