Parking - Probation Department
All traffic citations are processed at the Superior
Court of Kings County Criminal-Division located at 1426 South Drive,
Hanford, CA 93230. The traffic division processes both traffic and
non-traffic violations. Non-traffic violations include alcohol related
offenses, animal control, violations of city and county ordinances, fish
and game as well as boating violations.
All traffic citations involving juveniles are
processed and heard by the Kings County Probation Department at 1424 Forum
Drive, Hanford, CA (part of the Kings County Government Center). For
questions regarding a citation contact the Kings County Probation
Department at (559) 582-3211 extension 2850. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to
5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
The Superior Courts are located at 1426 South Drive,
Hanford, CA 93230 and are part of the Kings County Government Center which
also houses all county offices. Parking is free and is available at
various sections of the complex. Persons having business with the
Superior Court offices are encouraged to park in the main parking lot
situated to the right as you enter the complex onto Mather Drive from
Lacey Boulevard (directly in front of the complex). Additional parking
for the courts is also available behind the Civil Division Building which
is to the left on South Drive as you enter the complex on Mather Drive
from Lacey Boulevard (directly in front of the complex).
All persons entering into the courtrooms must be
dressed appropriately including, shirt, pants, and shoes. Persons wearing
T-shirts, shorts, tank tops, halter tops, or cut off jeans will be denied
access to the courtroom.
Cell Phones and Pagers
Cell phones and pagers must be
turned off before entering the courtroom.
Parking - Probation Department
Parking is free and available in the area directly in
front of the Probation Department on Forum Drive. You may also enter onto
Forum Drive by way of Kings County Drive which is located directly west of
the government complex (the first stop light to the west) (left) of the
complex off of Lacey Boulevard this will be a right hand turn (in front of
the complex).
