Exhibits

Exhibits are documents or objects produced by a party in an action for identification and may be admitted into evidence during a trial or hearing. Once the trial or hearing has been concluded, the Court may order the exhibits to be released to the District Attorney's Office, the law enforcement agency submitting the complaint, counsel for the parties, parties appearing in propria persona or parties may stipulate to the return of exhibits pursuant to the Code of Civil Procedure section 1952, Penal Code Sections 1417 or Penal Code 1420. If you wish to view any of these codes, they are available through the California Law web site located at www.leginfo.ca.gov/calaw.html. Then, follow the directions for finding the code(s) you are interested in.

Criminal Traffic Exhibits

Criminal and Traffic exhibits are maintained in each Court location except those exhibits associated with felony cases. Felony cases exhibits are stored at the Civil Division located at 1426 South Drive, Hanford, CA 93230.

Civil

Civil (limited and unlimited), Family Law, Juvenile Dependency and Juvenile Delinquency, Probate, and Small Claims are maintained in the Civil Division located at 1426 South Drive, Hanford, CA 93230. For information regarding exhibits stored in the Civil Division, you may contact the clerk at (559) 582-1010, ext 3085.
